When I'll buy a PC for just myself it will be a MAC. I heard Mac has less bugs than Microsoft's OSs.

Ok, first off,

DO NOT USE NORTON!

because of norton my computer died, and I had to run FDISK and reformat my computer. Right before it died I downloaded a crap no-name anti virus and it found it.

I had managed to keep the virus from detroying my system info, until I could find the emergency boot disks, along with all of the software that allows my computer to run properly.

I now use Mcafee, and it works great!! It alerts me to any change anywhere in my computer. The package i bought is an Anti spyware, Anti Adware, anti virus, firewall, anti malware, it scans more files in a scan than any other antivirus that i have owned.

The package that I bought is only 40 bucks at Target

Re: Anti Virus
I use government issued, "Symantic Antivirus and Firewall".

I got them about two years ago. All viruses and spyware were BLOCKED. We never had another virus since I got them.

RE: Anti Virus
I’m currently using avast antivirus on my computer and it protects all my files from virus and keeps everything safe so it’s very useful for me.
