Final fantasy so far has been the Greatest hit of RPG except Dragon Quest more popular in japan but don't you just wonder when Square Enix will Stop the Best series the world has had to play?

i've heard rumors that the game may end at FFXVI [16]?

Do you think it will end or do you think it will continue like its rival Dragon quest which as already sold over 20 games in the Dragon Quest Series?

It would be such a shame to see it go Don't you think so?

I agree totally. Dragon Quest is a very good RPG, but not as good as Final Fantasy. The day when square-enix stops the ff series will b a very sad day indeed. Let's hope it's in the very far far future.

I hope that that day never come. The final fantasy series was my second RPG series after Phantasy Star for Sega genesis (BTW I finally beat this ame after ten years). Final Fantsy has always been one of my favorite games of all time, and they always will be.

First RPG ever was LUFIA I or II dont know cause theyre so confusing with theyre 2 is part 1 and shit haha but FF7 was my second game i bought from my own money and after that i was hooked...checked every single rpg that i could find haha

but bout the quit...i tought it might when they were consideration of merging squaresoft with enix but lucky us that went well...now i dont really think it will ever stop...cause the games of the ff series always sell.....and the RPG and MMORPG series are getting more and more populair with the day....so i think as long as theyre sure it will sell...they will keep making it...and i dont believe that there will ever be a non selling ff game so we dont have to worry bout it too much if u ask me

The thing with FF is, the series has the potential to "never" end. Since the storyline is always changing, it allows for the developers to make new ideas instead of just building up on the same one over and over.

Sure I mean, it has a few elements that are the same, (Ex: Cid) but as long as the company is open to new ideas, the series can never end.

Much like the Suikoden Series.

I've only played VII and VIII, as of yet, but I must say that this game is the best I've experienced. At the rate I'm going now, though.... they could stop them now and I won't finish the series for another 10 years.
