Due to the extreme lack of content in the forum as a whole, let's start up a topic that I'm sure everyone has something to say about. So what are your views on same-sex marriage? Is it wrong? Is it repulsive? Do you support it? Do you think it's a great idea? Let's hear your thoughts on the matter.

I have no problems with this matter. Every person's life is theirs to do with as they see fit. Be it marry another dude, or in the female case, anotehr woman.

Also, to those people who argue against it saying that the bible forbids same-sex marraige: Not everyone is christian, and not everyone shares your beliefs.

I completely agree and encourage same-sex marriage to people who are actually homosexual. No one can tell you who to love and when it comes to the bible, well... If life was really circled around the bible, it would restrict many things. (Like Final Fantasy for instance)

Adoption should be prohibited though, because the children would have a higher chance of becoming homosexuals.

And that's a bad thing? It dosen't matter if their Homosexuals, if they show good parenting skills then they should be able to adopt.

I don't believe the definition of marriage leaves room for same-sex couples. Sure, they can make a life-long commitment to one another... but marriage is supposed to involve the promise of procreation. Least that's what I think about it. Legally, though, why not. There are some states that say you are married to someone if you've lived with them for 6+ months. I know people that are married, don't have kids, and cheat on one another.

So, if you are asking if I think it should be illegal for homosexuals to tie the knot: No.
If you are asking if I believe they are really "married": No.

IMO, married and committed are two different animals.

I am against it in the Christian sense. But if it's some kind of state union and not a holy matrimony, then I see no problem with it.

(The Christian) God hates fags (to quote the old, but stupid, saying), and that's that. They should leave Christianity alone, and make up their own rituals.
