Jpop is alrite, umm i only prefere the anime jpop thats good otherwise the singers sound a bit funky

both are great but most of the anime music artists have their own music too which isn't concerned to anime and I still like them
like Ayumi hamasaki, utada hikaru etc..

What about metal music, thats my favourite, especially finnish metal

Rock mixed with some indie's great. Bands like Muse are the best.
